Provide a home to children in need

Foster care is an intervention for children and families in crisis, often involving abuse, neglect, incarceration of a parent, or in meeting the medical needs of a child when no other appropriate biological family member can meet the acuity of care needed. It is designed to provide a temporary home to children in need of care. Foster families offer a loving home where healing from trauma can occur while biological parents work toward reunification. 

Once you become a licensed foster home, you can join Guiding Light Foster Care Agency and our agency will be here to support you in your journey as a foster parent.
